Samantha Cavet

I am a photographer from Caracas, Venezuela. I left my country in 2015 and moved to Madrid, Spain to study and grow in a new environment with better opportunities. I had the opportunity to travel since very young, so I have always been fascinated by landscapes and new cultures. In 2020, I began to take a more serious approach to my personal photography work. I work on portraying human emotions like nostalgia, melancholy, and calmness in my art and try to add my personal touch to dreamy pictorial landscapes and pay homage to impressionist paintings. Colors, textures and the way we can use them to express different concepts inspire my work enormously. For this reason, my editing style seeks to create scenes that are visually appealing, satisfying, and almost ethereal.
